Warm and cosy, the observatory has superb views overlooking Fishnish bay towards the Movern peninsula.
This is a fantastic place to sit and watch wildlife.
White tailed sea eagles, otters, seals are seen regularly. Use the telescope to get a close look at some of the more common yet beautiful birds including Herons, Oyster Catchers and various waders and wildfowl.
Deer can often be seen on the hills to the South or if lucky on the night vision video on the meadows.
A selection of video cameras provides extra interest on the observatory viewing console; seasonal attractions include underwater cameras, bird box cams and bat box cams. The owner is self confessed wildlife geek who loves to share insight into the normally unseen worlds exposed by wildlife cams.
The observatory can also provide a pleasant place to relax with a coffee, to read a book or perhaps to chat with other guests and share the day's discoveries.
